| Car was totaled but got a huge settlement. Mixed emotions.

| So on my way to work this morning I was in a car accident. I had stopped due to some congestion and the guy behind me apparently didn't notice that traffic had stopped. He hit me going about 35 or 40. I knew he was going to hit me but there was nothing I could do -- so scary to watch someone flying toward you with no intention to stop. Anyway, he slammed me into the car in front of me, so I was sandwiched. Both bumpers of my car where crushed, hood dented and the left side of the car was shifted back (the passenger door doesn't close properly anymore). As for myself, they took me to the ER for neck and back pain. I just have some pretty bad whip lash thankfully. My shoulder is also bruised from my seat belt and my chest is bruised and imprinted from my necklace. I'm generally just very sore and won't be returning to work for the rest of the week.
So there's the scoop. My car may not live, but I will.

| It has been an absolutely terrible month. Thank God it's Christmas time (my fav holiday), otherwise this would have been unbearable. I've had some pretty serious health issues, which hopefully will not be recurring, but may...we shall see. And my job is just so demanding. I love the kids, and I think I'm good at what I do; it's just tiring and, honestly, not terribly rewarding lately. I won't be sad to be done in June.
I'm looking forward to law school next fall. I need to get my brain working again. lol I'm ready to move on to something new. *sigh*

| I was jogging at the Rose Bowl earlier and this guy started hitting on me every time he'd pass me on his bike. I was like WTF!?! Dude, I'm jogging; leave me alone. Slightly flattering and definitely amusing, but yeah....weird.

| I'm addicted to exercise. I worked out for three hours yesterday, and not only did I enjoy it, my body did too. I'm not sore today. WTF! I thought for sure I would be. There is only one thing to do...go kickboxing.
